Fibroblast treatment is a non-surgical lift procedure giving the same results as traditional surgery. It is safe and bloodless, without the need for aesthesia. Fibroblast is made comfortable with aesthetic applied to the area prior to treatment. This innovative technique will not cause over lifting. Only the excess skin is affected during the procedure. Patients are able to notice results right away although it takes 2-4 weeks for full effect to be visible. Fibroblast procedure may only be performed by the certified specialist.
How Does Fibroblast Work?
Fibroblast device uses plasma, an ionized gas between the tip of the Fibroblast tool and patient’s skin. During the procedure electric arc forms, referred to as a plasma flash or mini lightning. Only surface of the skin is touched causing tissue to retract. This is known as sublimation, the process of turning solid directly to gas. Targeted tissue sublimate, therefore no damage to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers. Patient can resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.
Is A Consultation Required for Fibroblast?
Yes. Anyone interested in Fibroblast procedure is required to have face-to-face consultation. Careful assessment will ensure right treatment plan. Multiple factors affect the aging process. Each person and treated area are different and needs to be determined individually. Our goal is to keep clients informed and meet their expectations.
How Is Fibroblast Treatment Performed?
When activated, Fibroblast tool creates plasma flash which travels from the tool’s tip to treated area. The tool itself never touches the skin however plasma flash creates a tiny dot upon the contact. Further points are applied creating a symmetrical grid over the treatment area. This in effect causes tightening of skin fibres. Only surface of the skin is affected and deeper layer known as the basal lamina is not. Fibroblast is non-invasive treatment, no cuts to the skin or stitching is necessary. Fibroblast is completely bloodless and without unnecessary damages to surrounding tissues.
How Long Does a Fibroblast Treatment Take?
To minimize any discomfort numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. It will take 20-30 minutes for aesthetic to take effect. The procedure itself takes between 15-30 minutes depending on the size of treated area. Your appointment shouldn’t last longer than 1 hour.
Does The Treatment Hurt?
Fibroblast is non-surgical treatment with minimal discomfort reported by patients. Topical cream is applied to numb treated area prior to procedure. Immediately after the treatment the skin will be reddened and lightly swollen. This will usually last up to 3 days, although slight redness may remain for up to 2 weeks. During the procedure carbon crusts will form on the skin directly where Fibroblast tool was applied. Crusts should not be touched for 5-7 days. To minimize complications, you will be informed on proper aftercare following the procedure.
Are There Side Effects from Plasma?
Fibroblast is very safe and side-effects are rare but infection, scarring and temporary change of skin pigmentation may occur. Carbon crusts, a tiny superficial dot which form directly on the skin are part of normal healing process and when correctly treated with after-cream will cause no threat and fall off 5-7 days after treatment. Mild swelling is expected during first 3 days and usually entirely gone by day 5. Majority of our patients do not report any of those after a week.
What Are the Aftercare Recommendations?
Yes. It is very important to follow our after-care recommendations. Carbon crusts CANNOT be scratched or removed. Drying skin by dabbing with a clean, lint-free cloth is allowed. Healing skin should be protected from direct sun with SPF50 cream. Sports, swimming and sauna are not permitted until crusts fall off. This should happen within 7 days of procedure.
Are There Any Unusual Complications?
Fibroblast is very safe but in some rare occasion’s complications may occur. Please inform us immediately in case of any unusual symptoms. This may include signs of infection such as excessive redness, pus, blistering or thick, yellow crust forming in treatment area.
Can I use Makeup After the Treatment?
The treated skin area will be covered with carbon crusts which form during the treatment. They should not be rubbed off therefore it is necessary to avoid any moisturizing creams for 5-7 days. This is when usually crusts fall off. In addition, patients need to avoid all direct heat sources such as sun, UV radiation, saunas etc for the period of at least 4 weeks.
When Will the Effects of The Plasma Treatment Be Visible?
Most patients should notice the effect of the procedure right away. However, the healing will continue and the full result should be visible within 4-8 weeks. In some cases, patients may need more than one treatment. This depends on treatment area and skin condition as well as patient’s expectations.
How Many treatments Will I need?
In some cases, just one treatment may be sufficient, especially with lighter corrections. Many of the treatments will depend on a size of the treated area and customer’s desired degree of correction. Full effect of the first treatment will be visible after 4-8 weeks following the procedure. If patient requires additional treatment to achieve optimal results those should be scheduled at 8 weeks intervals. Effectiveness of Fibroblast non-surgical lift is comparable to traditional techniques. In order to evaluate number of required procedures and choosing best treatment plan face-to-face consultation is required.
How Long Do the Effects of The Treatment Last?
The treatment should last long term rather than few months although it is hard to predicted exactly. Aging is dynamic process and there are many factors affecting patients individually. Lifestyle, diet and genetics just to mention few. As of today, permanent results are not possible, after Fibroblast procedure or traditional surgery your skin will be a subject to aging.
